Why use an Independant Financial Advisor
An IFA is not tied to one company and can give advice on the products and services of all companies, which gives the consumer choice and advice that is independent. This is in direct contrast to some advisers that are tied to one company, these advisers are called tied agents because they are tied to one company. IFAs are bound to the Financial Services Authority rules, which obliges them to provide advice most suited to your personal requirements and your risk outlook. In order for an IFA to give advice to a client, a fact find and a needs analysis will usually be carried out. Only then will an IFA advise on whether or not a product is suiable to meet the clients' needs. |
